Nokia 7 Released HMD Global Exclusive to China
HMD Global as the official license holder of Nokia has just released its newest Android smartphone, Nokia 7 in China. Uniquely, the Nokia 7 is said to be released exclusively for the Chinese market only. This smartphone comes with specifications similar to the Nokia 8, but at a much cheaper price. Curious? When viewed in terms of design, the Nokia 7 looks like a premium smartphone in general with a body made of aluminum and glass. At the bottom of this smartphone there is a USB Type C port for charging the battery and transferring data. On the back of the body, the Nokia 7 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner.

So far, HMD has revealed that the Nokia 7 will be available exclusively for the Chinese market and there is no information about its global launch yet. However, if you look at the history of previous Nokia smartphone launches, China is often the first country to receive Nokia’s latest products. The plan is that the Nokia 7 will go on sale in China on October 24, 2017 at a price of US$ 377 or around Rp. 5 million for the 4 GB mode and US$ 407 or the equivalent of Rp. 5.5 million for the 6 GB mode.
Apart from its availability which is said to be only for the Chinese market, the presence of the Nokia 7 seems to prove that Nokia is back in the smartphone market and shows that HMD’s business in the market smartphone getting stronger by being able to release various variants of Android smartphones in 2017. HMD Global first announced the appearance of a Nokia smartphone at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in Barcelona, Spain, in February 2017. Since then, the company has released many Android smartphones and feature phones and has sold millions of units. The Finnish company is also optimistic that the Nokia brand will be victorious in the smartphone market again, just like when Nokia was known as the world’s best mobile phone brand.
