Valorant Developers Explain How Their Latest Anti-Cheat Works

GridGames.ID – The developers of Valorant this week shed some light on how their anti-cheat works in a post.

The anti-cheat system in Valorant currently consists of kernel mode drivers which are loaded during system boot.

This means that those who have downloaded Valorant will run the Vanguard system in the background on their system, even when not playing the game.

You can disable Vanguard, but when playing Valorant, the anti-cheat must be turned on again to be able to play.

This system is designed to get rid of any cheats using an AI that will investigate and monitor the players.

As of last week, Vanguard’s compatibility with vulnerable software packages has been expanded, while a small number of drivers are still blocked.

This means that, from now on, almost any software that was previously blocked by Vanguard will work properly on a Vanguard protected computer.
