WSL Season 2 Playoffs Results, EVOS & Siren To Upper Bracket Final!

The Women Star League (WSL) Season 2 rolled back yesterday by entering the Play-Offs.

This time, the Play-Off match began with the team that filled the slot in the Upper Bracket, including EVOS Lynx who had to face Alter Ego Nyx and SIREN Moon who met the regular season champion, BTR Era.

The Upper Bracket semifinal match was quite exciting because it brought together top teams who had a big chance to become champions of the WSL this season.

Unlike the regular season, the format for the play-offs itself uses the system best of three (BO3) for the semifinals and best of five (BO5) for the final match.

EVOS Lynx vs Alter Ego Nyx

The opening match for the Upper Bracket semifinals yesterday immediately brought together the regular season runner-up with its third place, namely EVOS Lynx and AE Nyx.

At their meeting in the regular season round, EVOS Lynx successfully slaughtered Alter Ego Nyx through his aggressive play as a result, they secured a 2-0 victory.

Starting the first match, Alter Ego Nyx, commanded by one of MPL’s senior players, Fadhil ‘Rave’, took the initiative to attack by successfully securing the first Turtle and First Blood.

In this decisive round, again, Alter Ego dominated at the start of the match by successfully securing First Blood and the first Turtle.

However, Caramel’s slick play which was not seen in the previous two matches successfully destroyed Alter Ego Nyx in the third match.

The victory was finally secured by EVOS Nyx as well as ensuring that he became an Upper Bracket Finalist.

BTR Era vs SIREN Moon

The next Upper Bracket match will bring together the champion of the regular season WSL Season 2 with a rank 4, namely BTR Era against SIREN Moon.

The course of the first match was initiated by BTR Era with its aggressive play, but the game had to be paid for after SIREN Moon succeeded in securing First Blood.

The tension of the game increased quite a bit and the two teams turned things around but Valanyr’s slick game, who previously received a successful penalty, brought SIREN Moon to his first victory in this match.

Do not remain silent, in the second match this time BTR Era replaced Chel with Vival to fill the core position.

BTR itself still played aggressively from the start but their aggressive game returned to disaster after Gummy was picked off by Valanyr.

The strategy of changing Chel to Vival is arguably very effective because Vival played very well in the second match. As a result, BTR Era forced SIREN Moon to go to the next match.

The deciding round begins, again Vival will fill the position of the BTR Era jungler in this match.

This time, it was SIREN Moon’s turn to play aggressively and immediately get 4 point kills in the first 90 seconds.

Like losing touch, Vival’s game seemed to disappear in this match in contrast to Mikasa who played well in this decisive party.

Finally, after dominating from the start of the match, SIREN Moon successfully secured a 2-1 victory and confirmed that they would face EVOS Lynk in the WSL Season2 Upper Bracket final.
