Surabaya Witness Opening the GoPay MLCC Tournament Joined by 500 Students

GridGames.ID – The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang game tournament, organized by GoPay, took place in Surabaya, starting initially at Ciputra University and UPN East Java (31/1).

Eddy Lim as the General Chair of the Indonesia eSports Association (IeSPA) and Mrs. Ida Kristin Sianipar as the Head of the Ciputra University Student and Alumni Bureau gave remarks for the tournament with the participation of 100 teams or more than 500 students.

In addition, there is also a seminar to introduce the esports industry in Indonesia to students.

Aswin Atonie (Brand Director of Moonton Indonesia), Adhitya Pratama (Marketing Manag GoPay), Aufa Bassam (CoFounder & CEO of Aegis.gg), and Daniel Agung (Vice Chair of eSports Ciputra University) were also present as resource persons.

With a total prize of IDR 350 million and a contract opportunity from the professional team of MLBB Indonesia, GoPay MLCC is an amateur tournament created professionally and officially held by Moonton Indonesia.

“GoPay MLCC will be held at 32 universities in 10 major cities in Indonesia. Through GoPay MLCC, we carry a mission to introduce the game and eSports industry more clearly to students and stakeholders in Indonesian higher education. We want to show the career opportunities that exist in the game industry from all sides: developer/publisher, fintech, influencer, to broadcasting/production”, said Aswin.
