PS5 Uses Eco-Friendly Packaging Design, No More Plastic!

Sony as the manufacturer of the Playstation console has also made important innovations in the aspects of packaging by using design packaging environmentally friendly for all PS5 products.
Through Sony’s official website, Sony’s Environmental Director, Kieran Mayer announced that the design packaging environmentally friendly PS5 is part of the Green Management 2025 program plan.

Furthermore, Kieran Myers announced that Sony will begin to eliminate the use of plastic in small product packaging.
So, you don’t have to be surprised if you find small products on the PS5 without the outer plastic packaging.

In addition to minimizing product packaging plastic, Sony is also using fully recyclable materials in the new PS5 packaging design.
Sony revealed that the materials used to package the entire PS5 console are designed to be completely recyclable.
Sony claims that the PS5 packaging is plastic-free packaging with a presentation of 93-99% plastic-free.
