Siren Esports wins 1st place in MDL Season 2

GridGames.ID – After being held last week (11/10), Siren Esports won the first place in the Mobile Legends Development League (MDL) Season 2.

As we know, Siren Esports is one of the non-MPL teams that compete in MDL.

The MDL Season 2 event itself has been rolling since early September 2020.

A total of 11 teams were collected to compete for slots to the Playoffs which took place on October 9-11 2020.

In total there are 9 to 10 matches that took place by each team competing in MDL Regular Season 2.

The bottom 3 teams that got the least points were forced to bury their dream of becoming a champion, including Geek Fam Jr., Alter Ego X and XCN BKB.

Returning to the champion, Siren Esports itself managed to win the MDL Season 2 title after defeating Aura Esports, ONIC Prodigy, and finally RRQ Sena in the final round.

The 3-1 score marked the final match at the MDL event, where RRQ Sena had to fail to win the tournament through the unyielding spirit of Siren Esports.

Siren Esports manager, Juniar Permata admitted that his team has high motivation to become champion in MDL Season 2.

“Indeed, this tournament is exciting because the opponents are really strong, but we are aware that we need to work harder when dealing with MPL franchise teams like RRQ Sena. This victory is also a testament to our optimism and strategy, because we have prepared various ways to beat our opponents in the Playoffs,” said the manager.
