Bandai Namco has finally made the game Pac Man Championship Edition 2 free to support the efforts of governments in various countries in dealing with COVID-19.

Pac Man Championship Edition 2 can be downloaded for free from April 24 to May 10, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

“We are sending our much-loved ambassador, Pac-Man to everyone at home, free of charge Pac-Man Championship Edition 2,” Bandai Namco wrote on its website.

“Through this limited free giveaway, we hope to bring joy into the homes of people around the world,” he continued.

Like the previous Pac-Man game series, in this game players must explore a maze to collect points, while avoiding ghost pursuits.

The difference is, in Championship Edition 2, the game runs faster and the number of jumps that Pac Man can make to return to its original position is now limited.
