Ubisoft: Beyond Good and Evil 2 Won't Release Until 2021!

Developing open-world games is not easy even for giant developers. There are so many aspects that the developer has to think about such as the state of the world, population, interactions, weather, area, lore, and secrets or mysteries which are certainly important elements for an open-world class game.

Although there are many open-world games that have great success, not a few open-world games have failed miserably and backfired for the developer. These very many elements also affect the game development time which takes longer. In fact, longer than expected and not according to the original plan.
