GridGames.ID – Cheating in CS:GO tournaments is like match-fixing (match fixing) and illegal gambling is a matter of great concern to CS:GO players, organizers and fans.

The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) has worked with the Australian police to tackle fraud match fixing and throwing in CS:GO tournaments.

In addition, ESIC is also conducting an investigation into the largest match-fixing case in the United States.

Launching from Kotaku.com, one of the tournaments that is the focus of ESIC’s investigation is the case match fixing North America MDL (Mountain Dew League).

Same as match fixing in a football match, case match fixing CS:GO involves several unscrupulous players who are bribed by a gambling syndicate to create a score according to their wishes.

ESIC revealed that cases match fixing and cheating in CS:GO is too complex and dangerous for them to unravel on their own.

Therefore, they work closely with law enforcement and the FBI to conduct fraud investigations.

The FBI itself has a new investigative team tasked specifically with addressing complaints of fraud and criminal acts in esports.
