Reporting from Gamerant, for almost four years, Pokemon Go players can get XP up to level 40.

Although levels 30-40 were difficult, players were able to adapt and reach level 40.

Until last November 2020, Pokemon Go announced that the game had increased the level cap from 40 to 50.
