A total of 141 PUBG players from China were arrested for making, using, and, worse, selling dangerous cheats to play the battle royale game that is currently being played by gamers around the world, PUBG.

They were arrested not because they cheated, but they were also hackers who inserted a dangerous virus that was capable of stealing other users’ data in the cheat software.

This case began in early 2018 where Tencent, the PUBG game developer, received lots of reports of players using cheats while playing PUBG.

From this report, Tencent immediately took action and collaborated with the local police to eradicate these cheaters.

Quoting from IGN, the number of 141 people is the total number of cheaters who have been cheated since last January and from all these arrests, more than 200 pieces of hardware were confiscated as evidence.

Currently, on the official PUBG website, photos of the arrests and evidence at the scene of the incident have been posted.
