10 currently underrated and underappreciated NBA 2K21 player ratings

The first rating for NBA 2K21 has been released and as it happens every year, many people are not happy with the rating. There are now 10 underrated NBA 2K21 player ratings and according to many fans they are not appreciated.

Some of them disagree with the ratings given to their favorite players. Even some players complained or insinuated about the numbers they got this time.

We get it, NBA 2K21 is caught up in the hype. Hot stretching can increase a player’s rank in no time.

But sometimes, it feels like there are no standard criteria for judging players. With that in mind, we’ve rounded up the top 10 underrated ratings in the NBA 2K21.

Hope these guys prove the doubters wrong once next season starts:

10.Draymond Green – 79

Draymond Green isn’t the flashiest player for the Warriors but there is no way he can get a 79 rating.

Even if he struggled for most of the season and missed a lot of time due to injury, he is 3-time NBA Champion and one of the best and most versatile defenders in the league.

Green may not be a deadly scorer but he’s one of the best playmakers in the league. He’s one of the main reasons the Warriors have been so good since Steve Kerr took over. He should be, at worst 84.

9.Mitchell Robinson – 81

Mimin understands, the New York Knicks are far from being a competing team but it is unlikely that Robinson, one of the most efficient Big Man in the league and has an 81 rating despite posting a similar or better number than others who are far away.

Robinson is three points behind Jusuf Nurkic, who is better than him but barely plays.

He is also under Hassan Whiteside, who is not a defender and even under Clint Capela, who does not play much and trades in the middle of the season. He probably deserves a rank 85.

8.Kevin Love – 82

Kevin Love hasn’t made the headlines in a long time, but that’s not his fault. The Cleveland Cavaliers are a bad team and there is no reason to think he should stay there after this season.

Kevin Love is one of the most prolific and versatile Big Man in the league. He can scorer from all three levels, rebound.

He shouldn’t be of a lower rank than Whiteside, Nurkic, Ayton, Aldridge, or Brook Lopez. He must be at least 85 years old.

7.Blake Griffin – 83

Blake Griffin’s reputation has taken a hit over the past few seasons but he’s been playing to his heart’s content to lead the Detroit Pistons to the playoffs.

Although he failed this year, he has struggled with injuries for most of the season. Griffin is a solid playmaker, versatile scorer and one of the best forwards in the league.

Yet he didn’t get the respect he deserves anymore. He is ranked lower than Zion Williamson, who has not played even 35 games this year. He should get a rating of 86 or 87.

6.Ja Morant – 85

Ja Morant is Rookie of the Year, apart from that he earned that difference almost unanimously after leading the Memphis Grizzlies to a playoff battle for this year.

And it’s pretty clear that he will be one of the faces of the league for many years to come. But Morant was also under Zion Williamson, the player to beat for Rookie of the Year.

Staying healthy is also part of the job and Morant showed glimpses of his prowess during his rookie season and should have been rated 88.

5. Kemba Walker – 86

I really can’t understand how Kemba Walker has a rating of only 86. His three points are above John Wall, who hasn’t played all year and is slightly ahead of Fred VanVleet.

He made a bigger impact than Kemba, Walker often underestimated due to his past with the Hornets and lack of success in the playoffs.

But we’re talking about a starting point guard for the Boston Celtics and a player who earns every penny in the league. He should get a rating of 88 or 89, at worst.

4.Bradley Beal – 88

The disrespect of Bradley Beal just came back, the player only averaged 30 points per game in an efficient manner for a full season and he didn’t make the All-Star team, an All-NBA team and only has an 88 rating in NBA 2K21.

Beal is one of the league’s most unstoppable scorers. Everybody just punishes for playing for a bad team. He should get a 90 or 91 rating, that’s for sure.

3.Devin Booker – 88

Devin Booker has proven he is one of the best offensive players in the league, but he’s really stepped up this season. The fact that he’s deployed those statistics in such an efficient manner is impressive.

Booker is one of the best young players in the NBA and should be treated as such by the developers of this game.

There’s no way he’s only 88 and Klay Thompson 89 when Klay doesn’t even fit this year. He had to be in the 90s after doing the show at the Orlando bubble.

2.Paul George – 88

Paul George’s reputation has taken a big hit this season. But he is still one of the most influential two-way players in the league, at least in the regular season. .

George has promised to raise that number throughout the season to 95 or 96 and while that may seem a little exaggerated, he should at least have a 92-93 rating. He was the top 5 MVP and DPOY candidate only one year ago.

1. Trae Young – 88

This shouldn’t come as a surprise to him as Trae Young has been used to being ignored and belittled over the years.

However, that doesn’t mean it’s true. Obviously Luka Doncic is a fan favorite, but is he really six points clear of Trae Young? Comparisons with Doncic will always hurt how people think of Young.

But we’re talking about a player who averaged 29.6 points and 9.3 assists per game in just his second year in the league. He has to have a rating of 92 or 93 and he will definitely have it at the end of the season.
