RRQ Champion Garuda Legendary Cup 2017
The Garuda Legendary Cup Mobile Legends Bang Bang tournament event which took place during the biggest technology event in Indonesia this year, BRI Indocomtech 2017 was over and determined Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) as the champion defeating EVOS Esports in the Final. With this, RRQ is entitled to a grand prize of Rp. 20 million and EVOS Esports as the second winner is entitled to a second prize of Rp. 7 million.
Even though they lost in the final, it doesn’t mean that EVOS Esports just lost without a fight, in the first game they even had a very beautiful epic comeback after being pushed back at the beginning and EVOS’ top lane was controlled by RRQ. But with the excellent struggle of the EVOS team, they managed to turn things around and win their first game.

RRQ also didn’t want to lose just like that, being behind 2-1, RRQ finally managed to equalize in the 4th game and finally finished the tournament by defeating EVOS Esports, the final position was 3-2 for RRQ’s advantage
Road To Final : Garuda Legendary Cup 2017
The Garuda Legendary Cup itself is hosted by Revival TV in the biggest technology event in Indonesia this year, BRI Indocomtech 2017 with a total prize of Rp. 50 million. Where in this tournament itself does not use the direct invite system, but uses the online qualification which was previously held on 26 – 31 October 2017.
In this online qualifying round, they are divided into 4 groups, and the top 2 groups will qualify for the next round. Here is the complete list of the 8 groups that passed the online preliminaries
Group A: With TEAMnxl> and J3x Rev Indo who passed Group A.
Group B: With EVOS Mobile Legends and RRQ O2 who passed Group B.
Group C: With Fortitudo and UG.INF `R1 qualifying from Group C
D group: With Victory Is Ours 3 and Domino’s qualifying from Group D.
What’s interesting here are the 3 best Indonesian teams in the Mobile Legends pro scene, nxl>, EVOS, and RRQ who are very familiar in the world of esports. These three entered the Mobile Legends competitive scene by cooperating with the previously established Mobile Legends team.
Team nxl> teamed up with Team Roxy who was the 3rd place winner in the Mobile Legends Tournament World of Gaming 2017. O2 which was the finalist of the MSC qualifier was acquired by RRQ and EVOS collaborated with Team Lord. Where Team Lord and O2 are very well known because they are the top 8 MSC 2017.
But the real surprise was not from these three big teams, but where were Saints Indo and Elite8 who were MSC 2017 finalists yesterday?
It turned out that there were 3 players from Elite8 and one Saints Indo player who played in the Garuda Legendary Cup 2017, where 3 Elite8 players played under the UG.INF `R1 flag, while Oura Saints Indo now plays for EVOS Esports.
