GridGames.ID – Since the Covid-19 pandemic emerged in Indonesia last March, the Work From Home (WFH) policy has been implemented in various countries.

The effect of staying at home makes video games an option for spending free time.

This phenomenon has also boosted the revenue of the battle royale game, PUBG Mobile.

Reporting from the Kompas.com page, the application research institute, Sensor Tower, noted that PUBG Mobile managed to reap revenues of USD 2.6 billion (approximately IDR 36.7 trillion) throughout 2020.

With the highest total revenue, PUBG Mobile has been named the most profitable mobile game in the Google Play Store and App Store app stores, period 2020.
