Pontianak Game Show 2017 Coming Soon!

The month of May is coming soon, the city of Pontianak will soon rejoice. In that month the game event which is claimed to be the biggest in Pontianak will be held. The name of the event is Pontianak Game Show 2017 (PGS). This event contains game competition, cosplay competition & costreet, giveaway, door prizes, trading card games, toys fair and many more.

The biggest gamer event in West Kalimantan will be held from 5 to 7 May 2017. The venue will be at Rumah Radakng, Jl. Sutan Syahrir, Pontianak. This event itself has been heralded since the end of February via the Facebook fanspage. Below is a brief description of some of the events in it.

Game Competition

Previously, it was mentioned that there was a game competition at the Pontianak Game Show 2017. The game competition held was an online game tournament. There are several famous games that are held. The games in question are Dota 2, League of Legend, Line Get Rich, Point Blank, Closers, Mobile Legends, and Tekken. Registration has started from the beginning of April 2017 and ended on May 2, 2017.

Cosplay Competition and Costtreet

Pontianak Game Show 2017 does not only contain games. To add to the excitement of the biggest gamer event in West Kalimantan, the committee held a Cosplay Competition and Costtreet. The Cosplay Competition will be held on 7 May 2017 and for Costreet it will be on 5-7 May 2017. All Cosplay Competition participants will get free PGS entrance tickets, while only the first 50 Costreet registrants will get free PGS entrance tickets.

Toys Fair and Trading Card Game

At the Pontianak Game Show 2017, Toys Fair and Trading Card Game were also held. The contents of this event are the introduction of toys from the Toys & Card Game community from Pontianak and the Trading Card Game event. In this event there will be an introduction to toys such as Action Figures, Yu Gi Oh Cards, Gunpla, Hot Wheels, Robot Toys, Vanguard Cards, Toy Cars, Weiss Schwarz and many more.

The biggest gamer event in West Kalimantan will not be fun without door prizes. Therefore, the Pontianak Game Show 2017 committee is trying to find sponsors so that they can provide door prizes for the participants and visitors who attend. It has been confirmed that the organizers of this event will give door prizes from the sponsors of Hotel Transera Pontianak. There are also door prizes in the form of 5 room vouchers and 4 spa vouchers.

In addition to door prizes, Hotel Transera Pontianak provides promos for event visitors. Event visitors who reserve a room at this hotel will get a discount of Rp. 295,800 for Superior room which includes breakfast. Discounts are also given for spa facilities as much as 20% for event visitors staying at the hotel.

Giveaway

Prizes are not only from door prizes. The committee also held prizes in a giveaway format. The promised prizes are a gaming mouse, a gaming headset, a gaming keyboard, a power bank, and a hotel room voucher. How to play is enough to just like the Pontianak Game Show 2017 Facebook fanpage. Then share the status about the giveaway. After that, you tag 5 people to join the giveaway. Comment on the giveaway post in the format PGS#your lottery number. An example is PGS#500. Lottery numbers will be drawn at random.org.
