The Last of Us Part 2 was lined up as game of the year version of The Game Awards 2020.

The game, developed by Naughty Dog, beats several other titles such as DOOM: Eternal, Final Fantasy Vii Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, Hades, and Animal Crossing: New Horizon.
