Cell phones with prices below Rp. 2 million are increasingly enlivening the country’s smartphone market, even though 2019 is not even one semester away.

For those of you who intend to buy a new cellphone in the near future, we received information from KompasTekno, which has summarized eight lists of the latest cellphones with a price range of IDR 1-2 million.

1. Redmi Go

In early March, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Redmi, launched its first Android Go phone. Redmi Go has a 5-inch wide screen (1,280 x 720 pixels resolution, 16:9 ratio).

On the camera aspect, Redmi Go has one front camera (5 megapixels) and one rear camera (8 megapixels). For hardware performance, this phone is powered by the Snapdragon 425 chipset combined with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.

As the name suggests, Redmi Go runs the “light” version of the Android Oreo 8.1 operating system or Android Go with a 3,000 mAh battery.

At the time of launch, Redmi Go was priced at IDR 1 million but the latest price as of May 2019 has dropped to IDR 899,000.

2. Galaxy A10

The Samsung Galaxy A10 is the latest champion from Samsung in the price segment under Rp. 2 million.

The Galaxy A10 features a 6.2-inch TFT-PLS “Infinity-V” screen design (720 x 1,520 pixels resolution, 19:9 screen ratio). In terms of photography, there is only a single camera both on the front and back.

The main camera of the Galaxy A10 has a resolution of 13 megapixels, with a lens with an aperture of f/1.9. While the selfie camera is accommodated in a V-shaped notch with a 5 megapixel resolution.

For the innards, this phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 chip and is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

This internal memory can also be expanded up to 512 GB with a microSD.

This phone is supported by a 3,400 mAh battery and runs the Android 9 Pie operating system overlaid with the One UI interface. The Galaxy A10 is priced at IDR 1,799,000.
