Ozil is Addicted to Playing Fortnite

GridGames.ID – Some time ago, Mesut zil had missed several matches while defending his club, Arsenal, due to a back injury.

Later, it was revealed that the game Fortnite was suspected to be the cause of the Arsenal midfielder’s injury. According to the Daily Mirror, the injury was caused by his habit of playing online games.

An Arsenal fan admitted to monitoring the Fortnite game statistics portal on an account belonging to Mesut zil.

The Daily Express report claims that the Turkish midfielder’s account has played 5,221 times the game Fortnite.

For information, such as information quoted from HAI, once playing a Fortnite game on average it takes 20 minutes. If calculated, zil has played for 1,740 minutes or 72 days.

That means that zil spends an average of five hours a day playing Fortnite!

Ingo Frobose, a sports physicist from the University of Cologne’s Department of Prevention and Rehabilitation, told German publication Bild that playing games too often can harm a player’s career.

“That game (Fortnite) can cause problems with Ozil’s back. An athlete (who has a career) in competitive events will feel the effects of weakness faster than non-athletes,” said Frobose, Friday (7/12).
