GridGames.ID – The coronavirus pandemic has forced various European football competitions to postpone their events, including La Liga.

The highest caste in Spanish football has suspended all fixtures for two weeks, starting from its announcement on March 12.

During this temporary suspension, all interested players, coaches and staff from each club are required to stay away from crowds by staying at home.

This decision certainly causes disappointment for Spanish League fans, but for the common good this must still be done.

In order to reduce the disappointment of its fans, La Liga also held an online FIFA 20 soccer game competition titled #LaLigaSantanderChallenge.

This competition was participated by 20 La Liga clubs, each represented by one player.

Names such as Marco Asensio (Real Madrid), Sergi Roberto (Barcelona), Adnan Januzaj (Real Sociedad) were seen participating in the competition.

The #LaLigaSantanderChallenge itself took place on Sunday (22/3) and was broadcast via the Twitch streaming platform.
