Salute, These Two Teens Help Pay Off Parents' Debt With Games

GRIDGAMES.ID- Two British teenagers, Ben and Matthew Horton, have made their parents proud. Since childhood, the twins have been able to earn their own money through games.

In fact, through this hobby, the two of them can help pay off the mortgage debt for their parents’ house in Norfolk, England.

Ben and Matthew, who are now 20 years old, first earned £600 in gaming when they were both 13 years old.

The father, Mark Horton, was initially shocked to learn that his two sons had such a large balance in their savings account. He suspected that his two children got that much money from selling drugs.

However, these thoughts are only limited to Mark’s prejudice. Instead of being addicted to drugs, Mark’s two sons are actually hooked by something else, namely video games.

Different from most teenagers, Ben and Matthew’s addictions actually lead to positive things.

It all started with an online game called Roblox, a free online game that allows users to design their own games (minigames), and play games created by other players.

Because they like playing online games, Ben and Matthew decided to try creating their own mini-games. The two of them also created the game Boat Ride, a mini-game with the theme of a fantasy world like Disney World.

Initially, Boat Ride can be enjoyed by players for free. Then, Ben and Matthew decided to bring premium features in their mini-games.
