Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream is Back!
Infinity Ward has released its newest creation into the war game Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. The event is filled with Double XP events, new game modes, and ghoulish-themed freebies aimed at paying homage to Willard Wyler’s nightmare world. From October 9 to November 1 2017, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will host Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream, a celebration of all things horrific in Multiplayer and zombie mode play. Do you dare to find out what Wyler has in store for you? If so, then get ready for so much new content!
Gesture Warfare is back
When Gesture Warfare first came to Infinite Warfare this September, Call of Duty fans discovered that gestures were not only a means to humiliate an opponent, but also a way to kill their enemy outright. Halloween Scream marks the return of this suspense-filled game mode.
Speaking of Carnage, it is the name of one of the four new multiplayer maps released in the Infinite Warfare Retribution DFA Pack. Carnage’s gruesome death machine makes it the perfect place for Halloween themed fun, and during Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream, the map is freely available from October 12 to November 1, 2017. In Carnage, you can play multiple game modes while enjoying Double XP. .
Undead Boss Battle
It wouldn’t be Halloween without monsters, and Infinite Warfare’s zombie mode has that. The big bosses from Infinite Warfare in this event are a new challenge this October, and it’s up to you and your friends to beat them in the new Boss Battle. If you’re looking to tackle the final boss of your favorite Infinite Warfare zombie episode, but are having a hard time finding the Easter Egg, then this mode is for you, as you’ll jump straight into the climactic battle of your choice.
The first episode, Zombies in Spaceland, will be available in Boss Battle throughout the Halloween Scream event, so you’ll have enough time to wipe out some of the aliens. As for the four episodes of DLC, they will be ready to play in Boss Battle every week. That means you’ll be able to slice Slasher in Rave in Redwood one week, then slide into the Rat King in the Shaolin Shuffle the next, before you make a seafood salad in Attack the Radioactive Thing and then head to the highlight of the battle in The Beast from Beyond. Of course, if you like the challenge and satisfaction of figuring out Call of Duty’s Zombie Easter Egg, you can still play Zombie Episodes at Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream event.
All Treated, No Tricks
During Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream, you’ll be rewarded with a free Halloween Drop at the start of each week. This free Drop Supply may contain variants of weapons, camos, calling cards, or even the latest zombie themed skin rig. Every week, Willard Wyler will bring new loot to Halloween Scream, and you can get a hint of what to get through the official Call of Duty Infinite Warfare website.
You’ll also get a free cosmetic item every Friday during Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream event, along with one last surprise gift of the last week that you don’t want to miss. To receive free items during Halloween Scream, players must enter Multiplayer mode between Monday and Friday mornings while online and visit the Quartermaster. Supply Drops will be available between Monday morning and Friday morning, Pacific Daylight Time, while cosmetic items will be available between Friday morning and Monday morning, PDT.
