PlayStation 5 Can Play PS4 Games, But These 10 Titles Can't

GRIDGAMES.ID- Some time ago, Sony officially announced that their latest console, the PS5, would have a backward compatibility feature.

With that feature, we can play various PS4 games on PS5 without having to upgrade and others.

However, Sony Interactive Entertainment VP, Hideaki Nishino recently delivered the latest news about the feature.

As GridGames collected from KompasTekno, Nishino informed that almost all PS4 games, which currently have reached 4000 games, can be played on PS5.

“We’re proud to announce that more than 99 percent of PS4 games will be playable on PS5,” Nishino wrote on the PlayStation blog.

Sony also mentioned that players can not only download PS4 games, but also transfer game data via a Wi-Fi network or external hard drive.

As Nishino wrote, if not 100 percent of PS4 games can be played on PS5, he also revealed some games that can’t be played.

The 10 games on the list are labeled “Playable on: PS4 only”.

Here’s a list of 10 PS4 games that unfortunately can’t be played on PS5 later:

– DWVR
– Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One
– TT Isle of Man
– Ride on the Edge 2
– Just Deal With It!
– Shadow Complex Remastered
– Robinson: The Journey
– We Sing
– Hitman Go: Definitive Edition
– Shadwen
– Joe’s Diner
