Jim Ryan Wants to Make PS5 More Exclusive Than Other Console Versions

GridGames.ID – Sony Interactive Entertainment has just unveiled some of its upcoming PS5 projects.

PlayStation CEO, Jim Ryan, revealed some of the Japanese company’s plans in an interview with Nikkei.

Reporting from videogameschronicle, the PlayStation boss said that the company has been quietly investing in the creation of first-party software.

The project could pursue further Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) opportunities to enhance development within the studio.

“We’ve been quietly investing in high-quality games for the PlayStation, and we’ll make sure that the PS5 generation will have more dedicated software for the PS5,” Ryan said.

In terms of upcoming exclusives, Sony Interactive Entertainment is currently gearing up to release the titles Housemarque’s Returnal on April 30 and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart from Insomniac on June 1.

Guerrilla’s Horizon Forbidden West is slated for release in late 2021 and God of War Ragnarok is releasing on PS5 this year.
