CAPCOM Confirms Resident Evil: Village Inspired From RE4 Series

Resident Evil (RE) horror game fans may be talking about Lady Dimitrescu, one of the antagonists in the Village series.
His vampire-like appearance and powers seem to be completely new to the RE world.

Reporting from wccftech, In an interview published by the latest official PlayStation magazine (March 2021, issue 185), Peter Fabiano as CAPCOM Producer, explains interesting things about what is in RE: Village.
The producer explains that Dimitrescu and his three daughters are creatures that fit the context of the RE world.
“We can assure you that Resident Evil Village takes the world and overall history of the series into account,” he said.
