Nikola Jokic Together With Corona Positive Players! Who's he?

Rudy Gobert was the first NBA player to test positive for COVID-19, but he certainly won’t be the last. In the days and weeks following his diagnosis, many players on various teams were tested and confirmed to be infected as well.

Even as the NBA begins the process of restarting the 2020 season, the threat of coronavirus continues to loom especially for the Denver Nuggets. That’s because after several videos appeared online.

Nuggets star Nikola Jokic was on the same pitch as Nikola Jankovic who was a center player from KK Partizan who recently tested positive for coronavirus or COVID-19, which created fears within his community that Nikola might also have been exposed.

“Denver Nuggets all-star center player Nikola Jokic may have been exposed to someone who tested positive for coronavirus during his recent visit to his native Serbia.

“The pictures show Jokic being close to Nikola Jankovic, who was the center player of KK Partizan during the exhibition games last Friday when he met coach Dejan Milojevic in Belgrade. On Tuesday, Jankovic’s professional team announced he had tested positive for the virus.”

There is no word yet on whether Jokic himself has also tested positive for coronavirus or if he has even been tested. Obviously, the NBA will likely test all players before the season resumes next month, but this incident with Jokic proves this whole situation is far from over.

COVID-19 is still an active threat while game plans are to be reversed, the NBA may have to be suspended if things get worse. We will continue to provide updates on Nikola’s situation and the state of the 2019-20 season as more information becomes available.
