Teaming Investigation, Tencent Gives Heavy Punishment for the PMWL 2020 Team!
Teaming Investigation, Tencent Gives Heavy Punishment for the PMWL 2020 Team! Many unwelcome incidents occurred at PMWL 2020. Where many fans see that there is a possibility of teaming between teams from the same country.
First, from PMWL 2020 East yesterday, KOG and Valdus the Murder, both from Thailand, were suspected of teaming up. But after deep investigation from Tencent and PUBG Mobile, they gave the decision that there was no evidence that they did this.
This time it looks like it’s happening again at PMWL 2020. This incident occurred during Super Weekend Week 3 Days 3. One of the best teams from Brazil, Loops Esports has received a severe punishment today.
Loops Esports were waiting inside the log house between Camp Alpha and Bootcamp in Sanhok when Team Queso spun in front of them, out in the open.
@ZoooTay @Sixless You guys think there was any wrong doing or any more to this ??.
Funnily enough twitch stream bugged out the moment this happened so twitch viewers missed out. Managed to catch it on YT just a coincidence ?? pic.twitter.com/upQ2l7bV3v– Klopen5 (@Nepolska) July 26, 2020
The Live Stream shows that although a Loops Esports player, ‘Michael “Dadin” Barboza has a clear target for Team Queso player Miguel “Mystic” Ramoha, Dadin didn’t try to eliminate Mystic. Dadin aimed the 3x scope straight at the Mystic but only fired a warning shot.
Mystic, along with the rest of Team Queso can comfortably rotate past the Loops.

Tencent announced after this incident they had launched an internal investigation. This investigation will not only look at the incident but also the entire PMWL 2020.
Today, Tencent said there was “no evidence” that the two teams were working together / teaming directly. Loops Esports intentionally avoids fighting Team Queso, which Tencent considers “unsportsmanlike behavior.” Due to unsportsmanlike behavior, Tencent wiped out all the points that Loops Esports earned that day (Week 3 Days 3).
Tencent added that they also got confirmation that Team Queso was not involved in the Loops Esports action. Hence, the team will not face repercussions. This ruling was delivered after analyzing all the engagements, communications, assassinations and knockdowns between the two South American teams.
Loops Esports have lost 44 points because of this. The team still sits in the first place of the Super Weekend ranking table with 442 points.
