EVOS Esports Receives IDR 177 Billion Investment Funding (Series B)!

EVOS Esports is one of the most successful and most popular teams in Southeast Asia. In terms of the team, they also have several divisions such as Mobile Legends (EVOS Legends with the peak of winning the Mobile Legends M1 world tournament), Free Fire (who just won FFIM Fall 2020), PUBG Mobile, Point Blank, and AOV.

And recently, the parent company EVOS Esports (Attention Holdings Pte. Ltd.- “ATTN”) just got Series B funding of 12 million US dollars (or thereabouts Rp 177 billion after conversion to Rupiah).

With participation well-known investor such as: Korea Investment Partners, Mirae Asset Ventures, Woowa Brothers, Indogen Capital and several family companies from Southeast Asia and Japan. The initial investor, Insignia Ventures Partners, also participated in this series B funding.

This is an extraordinary achievement, considering that EVOS Esports is still less than a year after their Series A funding in November 2019.

Sang-Ho Park, Executive director of Korea Investment Partners will also enter the board of directors of parent company EVOS Esports.

He said, “Esports is one of the fastest growing industries today, and EVOS Esports has succeeded in making their organization the leading esports platform in Asia. Ivan Yeo (CEO of EVOS) and his team have a clear vision and we believe they will establish the largest esports ecosystem in Asia.

EVOS also claims that the income generated from Livestreaming has increased 2 fold compared to the beginning of 2020, with an increasing trend of income from month to month. The income from all EVOS divisions has also exceeded their income in 2019 even though it was during the Corona pandemic.

EVOS Esports has also grown into an Esports brand number 6 which is best known globaly. “Korea Investment Partners are well-known investors in the Esorts and Gaming fields, and we are delighted that they are willing to join us.
