De'Aaron Fox is absent for 7-10 days due to ankle injury

It seems that the Sacramento Kings are having a lot of trouble this season when the NBA returns, such as Buddy Hield and Jabari Parker who previously tested positive for the corona. Now Kings announced today that point guard De’Aaron Fox injured his left leg in training and will be re-evaluated in 7 to 10 days.

The “bubble” game which will start on July 30th. Sacramento will face the San Antonio Spurs, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans (twice), the Brooklyn Nets, the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers in the first eight games.

Hopefully Fox can play in the first 8 games. Otherwise, the Kings low playoff odds will drop even further. To make the postseason for the first time since 2006, the Sacramento Kings have to do very well in those 8 games and hope the Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs and Phoenix Suns don’t succeed.

Like currently, the Grizzlies are in 8th place in the Western Conference standings while Fox and Co are in 11th place. Before the season ended in March, Fox averaged 20.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.8 assists for the Kings.

The player with that hand also recorded a percentage shoot of 47.5% from the field, 30.7% from outside the arc and 70.3% from the free throw line. De’Aaron Fox has averaged career goals of 15.9 points, 3.5 boards and 6.1 assists. The Kings drafted him with the fifth overall pick in the 2017 draft from Kentucky. Fox is likely to sign an extension to this season’s rookie-scale extension with the Sacramento Kings.
