xQc Banned Twitch After ‘Stream Sniping’ to Shroud – Temporarily banned by Twitch. Streamer xQc does stream sniping to DrLupo, Shroud and Tyler1.

Twitch streamer and former Overwatch pro player, Felix “xQc” Lengyel has been temporarily banned by Twitch. This is because xQc recently performed stream sniping during the Fall Guys Twitch Rivals event. xQc is known to peek at the live streams of other players such as DrLupo, Shroud and Tyler1.

Although the stream sniping action carried out by xQc was basically not for bad intentions, in the end it was still considered a violation. Stream sniping is against the GlitchCon player code of conduct.

This isn’t the first time the xQc streamer has been banned from Twitch. Previously in 2021, xQc was also banned for 72 hours. He is known to display an explicit video that was edited to be ‘deemed safe’. In 2021, xQc was banned for showing mature things on its live stream.

While violating or getting banned this time, from the GlitchCon side, xQc will be banned for six months from any Twitch Rivals event. He will also lose his prize winnings from GlitchCon. As for the time he was banned on Twitch, until now Twitch has not announced how long he will be banned from Twitch. If Twitch says ‘temporary’ there’s a good chance it will only last for a few days or a few months.

xQc had asked his fans not to defend him. He said that what he did was wrong and the defense was not justified: ‘stop defending [me] everywhere for no reason… we shouldn’t of done it and it was wrong‘. Source: TheVerge.
