Sony's PlayStation Credit Card Has Been Released

“Working closely with our partners at Sony Rewards and Capital One, we are proud to introduce the new PlayStation credit card with rewards specifically designed for gamers,” said Kristin Ferrito, brands activations manager at PlayStation America in a post on the PlayStation blog.
“Starting today, we (Sony) invite all of our fans to turn everyday purchases into attractive rewards and benefits,” he added.
Benefits Offered PlayStation Credit Card
This PlayStation credit card is similar to credit cards in general, which has various advantages for its users. This credit card will later provide a number of PlayStation-related promotions, such as reward points for every purchase on the PlayStation Store and discounts on subscriptions in various PlayStation games.
When someone applies for this credit card and it is accepted, the user will immediately get a PlayStation Store gift card worth USD 50 or around Rp. 600 thousand in their PlayStation Store account. After that, every purchase made using this card will also get points which can later be spent at a number of Sony stores.
Users will get Sony Reward points every time they make a purchase using this credit card. In addition, points will increase three times to three points if you use a card to pay mobile phone bills. Users who shop anything on the PlayStation Store will get five points. Likewise, if the user buys anything at an official PlayStation and Sony seller, they will also get five points. To give you an idea of how those points convert, Sony says 100 points are worth about US$1 in Sony Rewards.
In addition, there is also a tempting discount offer for PlayStation Plus. Users will get a 50% discount on the annual membership fee as long as the user spends USD 3,000 in a year using this credit card. This PlayStation credit card is the result of a collaboration between Sony, Sony Rewards, and Capital One. So far, this credit card is still intended for gamers in the United States and there is no further information whether this credit card will be available globally and also in Indonesia.
