Leaving Capcom, Game Designer Devil May Cry 5 Goes to NetEase!

Capcom seems to have lost one of its employees again. Previously, they themselves had been abandoned by Shinsuke Kodama, the person behind the development of Ace Attorney. Now, the latest news says that Capcom has been left behind by Ryosuke Yoshiha, the game designer of the Devil May Cry 5 game.

Of course, himself as the game designer of Devil May Cry 5 had a big influence on the success of Devil May Cry 5.

Yoshida is officially out of Capcom

He explained that he was no longer a part of Capcom as of July 4 yesterday. For 12 years he is happy to have been able to work with Capcom in creating their games so far. Well, regarding his new job, he himself will be leaving Japan. Even so, he had to wait and continue to work at home, until the COVID-19 situation began to subside.

The new job that Yoshida got himself was still related to the game industry. It is known that he will be working at NetEase’s new Sakura Studio. Through his Linkedin, he already holds a new title as Senior Game Designer. This is of course the exact same as he was at Capcom before.

Yoshida’s departure left a mark on Capcom and its fans. Of course, Yoshida for the past 12 years has contributed to the games released by Capcom, especially Devil May Cry 5. Hopefully Ryosuke Yoshida will continue to work in the game industry in the future.

What project will Yoshida be working on as a NetEase game designer? Let’s wait. What is your opinion about this? Give your feedback below.
