Digital Extremes: TennoCon 2021 Goes Digitally

In early February, Digital Extremes announced that they would be bringing a lot of new content to Warframe. Recently, Digital Extremes said that the TennoCon 2021 event will take place digitally.

This decision was taken because the Covid-19 pandemic is also not over and the health of the team is the main priority.

This Year’s TennoCon Held Online

During Devstream 152 which took place on February 26, 2021, Digital Extremes shared their plans regarding the content that will be coming this spring. Through the event too, they talked about TennoCon 2021 taking place online.

Unfortunately, Digital Extremes did not share full details regarding the TennoCon 2021 event. However, they said that they will continue to update information regarding this event as it becomes available. Furthermore, TennoCon 2021 will most likely focus on Warframe.

Of course, there’s a lot of information about Warframe content that will be released in the future, including the announcement of Heart of Deimos featuring new Infested areas, one of which is the moon Mars. For now, fans know that TennoCon 2021 is confirmed to take place digitally.

Apart from TennoCon, E3 2021 May Be Online

According to the VGC report, the organizers in this case the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) have submitted plans to publishers to hold E3 this year. Later, the event will last for three days, starting from 15-17 June 2021.

Through the proposals they submitted, ESA outlined several events such as sessions keynote for 2 hours, awards show, and also preview night. In addition, this event will also involve streamers and social media influencers to enliven E3 this year.

Unfortunately, even though proposals have been sent to the relevant parties, the ESA must obtain approval from other members. For your information, ESA members consist of several large companies in the industry and also have an influence on the structure of the event.

For now, E3 2021 will bring a different experience from previous years. Last year, ESA was unable to hold the E3 event due to the Covid-19 pandemic which forced several countries to do so lockdown as well as social distancing.
