Beat the Game, 20th Century Surreal Style 3D Game

City of San Francisco, North America, on October 26, 2017, games company Worm Animation is pleased to announce that the release of their game, Beat The Game, is now available on the Steam platform for the Mac version. Beat The Game is a captivating adventure game made of music, combining beautiful characters and environments, with classic 3D dots. This Steam game is inspired by the surrealist style of the 20th century, namely Dali and Ernst, as modern European technocrats.

Set against the backdrop of a beautifully crafted film animation, Worm Animation takes players on a journey with Mystics, the hero of Beat The Game, to uncover the mysterious abstract universe that he finds himself in after a motorcycle accident.

Mystical, however, is no ordinary hero – he is a music producer. With the help of his trusted recorder, Mystical must collect samples scattered around the beautiful, dreamlike environment of the Game to create a best-selling song. Renowned house producer and producer Marc Houle, who creates the soundtrack, ensures players are always able to create fans for their own club.

Beat The Game is not a race. You are not competing with anyone. No one is after you. Nobody kills. Take your time. Explore the environment. Mix your voices, try different combinations and enjoy your own soundtrack. This is not a game to be beat, it is a journey. A musical journey.

From the scraping of discarded drums to the clang of rock on metal, the game’s environment is filled with a line of colorful sounds and characters. As you explore a gloomy and surreal world, discovering interesting sounds, you gradually build a sample library. Crack unlocks your sequencer and the game’s audio comes alive, allowing you to use your samples in any combination you like.
