Albar “Hijrah” Fahreza’s transfer from ION to Boom Esports a few weeks ago is believed to affect the PMPL ID Season 3 scene later. Boom can be one team that makes a surprise.
Previously, while still with ION, Hijrah was one of the players to watch out for because he was proficient in reading gameplay.
His best score was bringing ION to win the PUBG Mobile Indonesia National Championship 2020, and second place in the PUBG Mobile Pro League – Fall Split 2020: Indonesia League.
Now Hijrah brings his experience and will be the new IGL in Boom. What did he say?
Different Training Style
Hijrah was invited to chat on Bro Pasta’s YouTube channel, where he talked quite a lot. The most obvious, according to him, is the training difference between Boom and ION.
Both are good, just the chosen training style is different. ION plays more directly, Boom is brewing strategy.
“The portion of training at ION is more about playing than discussing the gameplay. Now at Boom, the focus is more on gameplay, how to play, how to rotate, how to enter, something like that,” said Hijrah.
“Now the focus is more on mechanics and gameplay, 50:50 is the count.”

Build Chemistry
Even so, currently the Boom team is still in its early stages. There are a lot of new players, which means it takes time to adapt and get to know each other. Hijrah benefits from having a coach.
“If the problem is like, both like it. Only in this Boom, because there is a coach too, so I can learn even more, it turns out that the gameplay in Boom is better,” Hijrah continued.
“It’s like if the coach from Boom was transferred to ION, it seems really good. Because they already have chemistry,” he concluded.
“In Boom, we just have to find the chemistry first,” he concluded.
