GridGames.ID – South Korea-based tech giant Samsung has long ties to the video game industry.

They have also promoted their products through the title Fortnite by releasing several crossover skins based on the Galaxy Note smartphone line.

Reporting from Gamerant, Samsung Electronics is currently planning to dive deeper into the competitive gaming scene through a new exclusive deal with North America’s Twitch Rivals.

Twitch Rivals itself is an online tournament series that pits streamers against each other in various games.

Samsung and Twitch announced a year-long partnership on January 13, making the Samsung Galaxy “the exclusive mobile device partner of Twitch Rivals North America,”.

This agreement deadline report was unveiled via a Twitch Rivals broadcast held during the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 13.

This collaboration will present the Twitch Rivals Mobile Challenges event, a crossover event where every streamer will compete to play mobile games.

Not only that, the Mobile Mondays event will also be a year-long tournament series that offers cash prizes.

In a press release provided by Samsung also said that the partners will debut “Mobile Gaming Heroes” later this year.

Each participating individual will produce content, hold exclusive streams, and participate in various events related to Twitch Rivals.
