Unfortunately, they again announced the date had been postponed again.
The postponement was due to Japan’s re-expansion of its state of emergency related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
USJ itself is indeed located in Osaka Prefecture, and now the area is in a state of emergency due to the pandemic.
For now, the exact opening date is unknown.
But in a press release, USJ announced the opening of the amusement park would be open after the state of emergency was lifted.
In addition, they will also comply with any new protocols and policies that may be issued by the government and local authorities.
