GridGames.ID – On April 16, General Manager of Square Enix, Takashi Kiryu released an official statement to clarify the rumors of the company’s sales.

Takashi Kiryu emphatically denies rumors that Square Enix has been approached by several companies interested in the acquisition.

Kiryu also said that Square Enix was not considering selling the company or any part of its subsidiaries at all.

At first, Bloomberg Japan wrote a report containing that there were several companies interested in acquiring Square Enix.

Bloomberg Japan claims that interested companies have seen Square Enix’s development over the past 6 months and intend to acquire Square Enix.

At the end of his writing, Bloomberg Japan also revealed that his report was not based on any announcements from Square Enix.

Square Enix itself is a game developer from Japan who has produced several legendary games such as Final Fantasy, Life is Strange, and Tomb Raider.
