Sandiaga Uno believes Indonesia’s esports industry will boom

GridGames.ID – The video game industry, especially eSports in Indonesia, is currently being eyed by the government.

The eSports Association or known as the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) was also successfully created in 2019.

In the midst of a pandemic that has occurred since 2020, the esports industry is still able to adapt well and has proven to survive.

The eSports industry is considered to have the potential to revive an economy that is in a slump due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

On his occasion, Sandiaga Uno said that eSports could be a ray of light and not only be able to drive it in terms of achievement, but also in terms of industry.

Sandiaga Uno, who serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Esports Executive Board, also believes that eSports is not only an option to make achievements, but also contributes to creating job opportunities.
