GridGames.ID – The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a decline live events and events e-sports offline from Activision Blizzard.

On Tuesday (17/3), Activision Blizzard laid off 50 employees from the division live events and e-sports.

Activision Blizzard laid off 50 employees because they wanted to make changes to the company’s structure to be able to survive the difficult conditions of the pandemic.

Activision Blizzard’s restructuring was carried out by disabling divisions related to live events and events e-sports.

Launching from Bloomberg.com, the dismissed employee will receive severance pay equal to three months’ salary and medical benefits for 12 months.

In addition, the company also provides gift card worth 200 US Dollars or around Rp. 2.9 million to its employees.
