GridGames.ID – The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many things, one of which is esports tournaments.

Since the beginning of the year, many esports tournaments in the world have been forced to postpone their events.

Some are still holding the event according to the original schedule, but have changed the format to be online.

There are also those who are still delaying until an undetermined time, even ending with cancellation.

This time, an esports tournament titled League of Legends World Championship will be held again.

Having been delayed due to COVID-19, Riot Games as the organizer has confirmed that the tournament is ready to start.

Based on the announcement through the official website, the League of Legends World Championship will be held from September 25 to October 31, 2020.

Different from the previous performances, this year the group and preliminary rounds will be held in one place, namely Shanghai, China.
