Intel Launches Gen-11 Rocket Lake Processor, Great for Gaming!

GridGames.ID – At the end of March, Intel will launch its latest 11th generation desktop processor called Rocket Lake.
Intel launched the Rocket Lake desktop processor to compete with the AMD Ryzen 5000 processor which was released at the end of 2020.
In fact, Intel claims that the 11th generation Intel Core i9 processor is able to beat the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X which is AMD’s best processor.

Intel claims a 10% advantage over the Ryzen 9 5900X on the Total War Kingdom Dynasty gaming benchmark, 9% higher fps on Gear 5, and an 8% advantage on Grid 2019.

Intel is using a new microarchitecture design called Cypress Cove on its Rocket Lake processors.

The Cypress Cove microarchitecture is actually a development of Intel’s Willow Cove chip design and technology that has been used in 10th generation or Tiger Lake processors.
The difference is, Intel uses 14 nm transistors and lowers the number of core in the processor.
