Google Stadia Closes Game Studio, 150 Employees Affected

GridGames.ID – Google Stadia announced the closure of its games studio, Monday (1/2) yesterday.

The game streaming platform made by Google has decided to no longer invest in the sector.

In other words, Google Stadia no longer makes internal games specifically for its services.

In his official statement, Google Stadia’s Vice President and General Manager, Phil Harrison, said the company wants to focus on technology development.

In addition, Google Stadia will also deepen its business partnerships with other companies.

Harrison also admitted that developing a good game would take a long time and a big investment.
