Evo Tournament 2020 Plans to Still Be Held this July

GridGames.ID – Evo 2020 is a long-running annual fighting games tournament.

Despite concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak, the organizers still plan to continue holding this annual event.

The Evo team posted a statement on Twitter, explaining that the event could still be postponed or canceled if the coronavirus situation continued.

The plan is still moving forward with the idea that the event will take place July 31-August 2.

“At this time, Evo is moving forward with its plans to hold the 31 July – 2 August 2020 event in Mandalay Bay,” the organizers said.

“But we are actively monitoring updates from WHO, CDC, local governments, and public health agencies regarding COVID-19 and are continuing to assess the situation,” he added.

The message came with a promise that, should Evo 2020 be forced to be postponed or cancelled, all ticket purchases would be refunded.
