GridGames.ID – The last few days, the timeline has been filled with insults by NBA 2K21 players against the developer, 2K.

Interestingly, the blasphemous content conveyed is not related to the gameplay or features of the game.

But about advertising in the game which is considered disturbing by the players.

Yep, a number of NBA 2K21 players reported that they found a video ad in the game.

The ad contains a promo about gaming accessories in the form of a VR headset, Oculus Quest 2.

The annoying thing is, the ad can’t be skipped so players have to watch it to the end.

The form of advertisements displayed is in the form of videos and appears when loading screen before the match starts.

Knowing that the atmosphere was starting to become unfavorable, 2K responded.

In an official statement on the Twitter account @NBA2K, 2K admitted that initially the advertisement was aimed at the 2KTV segment.

They don’t mean to place ads when loading screen before the match.
