Dota 2 Again Lost One of the Best Casters Due to Past Cases!

Dota 2 Again Lost One of the Best Casters Due to Past Cases! The year 2020 seems to be the worst year for Dota 2. Because the big annual Dota 2 tournament, The International, which was planned to be held in August 2020 has been canceled due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic situation.

Then in recent weeks the Mobile Legends community has been shocked by cases of sexual harassment by some of the best Dota 2 casters such as GranDGranT, Zyori and also TobiWan.

Apparently Dota 2 has now lost one of the best casters again, namely Paul “Redeye” Chaloner. However, the case that happened to Redeye was not a case of sexual harassment, but an abuse of power.

The Redeye case first surfaced after a thread from James Banks accused Code Red (the agency where Redeye worked) and its CEO Luke Cotton of abuse of authority. Here’s a list of allegations from James Banks to Redeye:

1. Redeye and his organization often threaten the careers of new talents in the esports industry.

2. Redeye verbally or mentally abused employees while he was working for Gfinity.

3. The commotion between Redeye and the PGL production team resulted in him being banned from the tournament organizer concerned.

When the accusations pinned by Redeye were widely discussed on Twitter, some surprising facts from Redeye’s past that had a “black record” also emerged, namely:

1. The distribution of data from the court of Redeye who was involved in a case of violence against his children and his ex-wife in 2015, which based on the court’s decision, Redeye was proven innocent.

2. A former ESL worker with Twitter username @larisyrota admitted that Redeye is a toxic person and he is grateful that ESL always protects him. Redeye was last recorded as a host for ESL in June 2019 at the 2019 ESL One Birmingham tournament.

Redeye has also admitted that some of the accusations against him were true and some were false (Redeye didn’t explain what was right or wrong) and because of this Redeye finally decided to retire from esports, which means he won’t be a Dota 2 caster anymore.
