VALORANT Patch Update 1.07: Sage and Killjoy on Nerf Many!

VALORANT Patch Update 1.07: Sage and Killjoy on Nerf All-Out!

Today, September 2, 2020, Valorant is releasing the latest 1.07 patch! In this patch, we look at some of the skill adjustments given to Valorant agents. Sage, Killjoy, Viper and Breach are the 4 agents who received the update.

Sage and Killjoy, defensive agents that many Valorant players consider to be a little too overpowered receive some nerf (reduced stats) on their skills

Meanwhile, Viper and Breach, 2 of the least popular Valorant agents, receive several buffs (increased stats) to increase their attractiveness.

Apart from that, Riot Games also provides several updates for shotgun weapons and also for competitive modes.

Update Agent Valorant

Valorant Patch 1.07

Sage

Healing Orb

  • Healing reduced from 100 in 5 seconds >> 60 in 5 seconds
  • Self heal reduced from 100 in 5 seconds >> 60 in 10 seconds

This makes players no longer able to heal to full health if their HP is below 40.

Slow Orb (Slow ball)

  • Slow Orb Size decreased by 30%

During that time, Riot Games felt that the size of the slow orb that the Sage had thrown was covering an area that was too large, so they decided to reduce it.

Barrier Orb (Ice Wall)

  • Price reduced from 400 >> 300
  • Walls form at 400 HP. After a three second delay, the wall was strengthened to 800 HP.

Killjoy

So far, many players have complained that it is difficult to counterplay joy skills, especially Nanoswarm. That’s why Riot Games decided to make a little adjustment to Killjoy’s skill.

Nanoswarm

  • Added brief preparation before the breakdown begins.
  • DPS reduced from 60 to 40.
  • Visual effects have been added to make it easier to see grenades on the ground.
  • The nanoswarm audio range has been slightly increased.

Turret

  • It will no longer be revealed by Recon Bolt Sova
  • Will fire more effectively at the enemy’s last known location.

Breach

Flashpoint

  • The off-screen flash now matches other flash behavior in the game and applies the minimum flash count more aggressively.
  • An increase from two to three.
  • Reduces the preparation time from 0.6 seconds to 0.5 seconds.

Rolling Thunder

  • The detonation delay between explosions was reduced from 0.3 to 0.255.

Concussion

  • Concuss will now make players affected by this skill stop aiming and prevent re-aiming

Viper

Toxic Screen

  • These skills can now be placed during the buying phase of the round

Decay

  • Decay on all smoke skills no longer affects teammates

Viper’s Pit

  • Viper’s Pit area is now displayed on his team’s minimap while active.
