Standard Edition

For those who remember and played the original Final Fantasy 7, fighting enemies followed the JRPG status quo at the time: turn-based combat. It continues to hold its own in some of the most popular modern JRPGs like Persona 5. But many old and new games and franchises have opted for more action-oriented combat. Even Final Fantasy has changed combat completely to action orientation with Final Fantasy 15. Looks like that effect has been removed in FF7 Remake.
