Do you guys know? PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds or more commonly known as PUBG was the most profitable paid premium game in 2021, although it had to experience a lot of decline in the following year.
Well according to a report from SuperData, PUBG earned over $1 billion in digital revenue from global, placing it in the top spot alongside juggernaut games like FIFA 18, GTA 5, and even Red Dead Redemption 2.
A little information, this number comes from the accumulation of the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions, not PUBG MOBILE. This is a very surprising number, as the number of players on PC has been declining since February. So far this year, PUBG has lost more than 20% of its players.
