GridGames.ID – Minecraft, the now 11 year old sandbox game has officially surpassed 200 million copies sold worldwide.

Mojang Studios, the developer of the game, also saw an increase in the use of Minecraft during the COVID-19 pandemic and gave a big boost to sales figures.

This is evidenced by a 25 percent increase in new players last month and a 40 percent jump in multiplayer mode.
