Get ready! Mobile Gaming Will Get A Special Certificate From Google

GridGames.ID – Smartphone vendors who produce special gaming phones are now growing.

Google itself plans to create a certification program called “Game Device Certification” for these devices.

The plan is intended because Google wants to ensure that all gaming devices can work as expected.

That is, having sufficient capabilities to be used to play and in line with the wishes of game developers.

Reporting from the Kompas.com page, this certification plan is known from a list of requirements that must be met by original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original design manufacturer (ODM) partners, before installing Google Mobile Suites (GMS) on their devices.

In the document, there is now a new section called “Gaming Device Certification.”

The contents explain that there are a number of conditions that must be met if a device wants to obtain a Gaming Device Certification.

These requirements include having a high-performance graphics processor (GPU), supporting the latest APIs, and showing predictable behavior, for example in terms of throttling due to heat.
